Ariel Zimerman

Media Director

Ariel Zimerman serves as the Media Director at CURE, Center for Urban Renewal and Education. Since joining CURE, Mr. Zimerman has produced, directed, post-produced, and delivered Star Parker’s weekly one-hour T.V. show, “CURE America with Star Parker.” Growing its footprint from YouTube to five Christian TV networks throughout the United States, reaching 117 million homes.

Before joining CURE, Ariel built the D.C. bureau of i24News English, French, and Arabic from the ground, three parallel T.V. networks, then integrated two other channels, Cheddar News and Cheddar Business. Ariel covered the White House, the U.S. Senate, House, State Department, Department of Defense extensively.

Mr. Zimerman was awarded the Simon Bolivar prize in 2011, in recognition of his role in strengthening Colombian democracy, for his documentary on the detainees at the Guantanamo Bay facility in Cuba.

He studied Fine Arts Photography at NVCC, in V.A. When not hard at work at CURE, Ariel likes to explore the rich historical sites of Northern Virginia, sing, and am a regular hiker at Shenandoah Valley.
