Omarr Peters

Clergy Center Director

Omarr Peters was born in New Orleans, Louisiana. Around his seventh birthday, his family moved to McComb, Mississippi, and would eventually plant a church there. From its opening in 2005 until its closing in 2016, Omarr was an active member of his parents’ church, Anointed Dove Ministries. He graduated from McComb High School in May of 2015, and was active in the high school band, the McComb Mayors Youth Council, the Superintendents Student Advisory Board, amongst other activities. Omarr is a 2019 graduate of Mississippi College, majoring in Political Science. He is a former intern of Mississippi’s 64th Governor, Phil Bryant.

Omarr has worked for multiple non-profit organizations, including: The Leadership Institute, Turning Point USA, and Students for Life of America. Omarr is a former State Board of Directors member of Pro-Life Mississippi. He is now CURE’s new Clergy Center Director. He does not have any children and is not married. Omarr enjoys cooking Creole and other southern dishes, reading, and watching sports.
