Mike is a dedicated community leader, holding key volunteer positions in the Rotary Club of Stafford and his church, where he is active in lay ministry and serves on the Finance Council and Capital Campaign Committee. He presented at national conferences for the Council for Resource Development and was Chairman of the Boy Scouts of America Aquia District Finance and Development Committee. Mike earned a BA in Political Science and History from King’s College in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. He and his wife, Jeniene, have six children and three grandchildren. Mike’s number one priority is being the best husband, dad, and poppy he can be. This is followed closely by volunteering, working in the yard, playing with his beagles and “chug” (chihuahua – pug mix), and watching the Washington Nationals’ and their single A team, FredNats, and his favorite team from birth, the New York Yankees.
