Donors Trust Podcast Highlights the work of Star Parker and CURE

CURE Founder and President Star Parker interviewed with Peter Lipsett on the Giving Ventures Podcast. Donors Trust began the podcast to help charitable givers discover new opportunities to change the world for the better.

In the interview, Star takes Peter through her story of welfare and dependence, how it led her to start CURE, and the critical issues that guides CURE’s dedicated work today, including homelessness and housing, the State of Black America, welfare reform, and the overturning of Roe v. Wade.

“[The policing] narrative from the left has always consistently been that the problem is somebody else’s fault and it’s about race and racism, and my message was different—that we need responsible people living wholesome lives so that we can make communities work.”
