CURE & MLG host press conference & roundtable in Rep. Rashida Tlaib’s District

Livonia, Michigan- The Center for Urban Renewal and Education (CURE) and Michigan Lighthouse Ministries will host a press conference with pastor members of CURE’s clergy and local leaders to speak out against antisemitic voices and resolutely stand with Israel.    

The press conference will be headlined by CURE’s Vice Chairman of the Board, T.W. Shannon, a former Oklahoma Speaker of the House. CURE and our partners are specifically speaking out in Michigan’s 12^th U.S. Congressional District, represented by Rep. Rashida Tlaib, who has been one of the most outspoken revilers against Israel, spreading false information contrary to the facts provided by U.S. intelligence agencies. CURE is hosting this press conference, which will be followed by a Pastors Lunch Roundtable, to discuss and inform on the issue – to push through the false noise and find the truth.

Star Parker, President and Founder of CURE, recently stated “Israel is a beacon of freedom and a strong ally of the United States. For those who value democracy and the rule of law, Israel represents a rare and crucial example in a region fraught with instability.” Parker continues “Israelis fight in order to survive. Hamas fights because they want to kill. We must come together and stand with Israel and against those such as Rep. Tlaib.”
