CURE Partners with Encounter Books on The State of Black America
For immediate release: May 24, 2022
Washington, D.C. – This month, in partnership with Encounter Books, CURE is releasing a new book titled The State of Black America. In the chaos of misinformation and misunderstandings over race in this country, it is increasingly difficult to find a fair assessment of the state of black Americans. To those obsessed with race, the principles of the founding have gotten lost in the noise.
CURE believes it is imperative to have honest conversations about race in America in order to return this country to civility and prosperity. The State of Black America, a new collection of scholarly and powerful essays, is a new and monumental work that addresses this ongoing challenge.
This compilation of essays seeks to restore careful and sound thinking to the discourse surrounding black America, developed by a consortium of scholars who can confront our nation’s troubled racial history while preserving the promise of America’s heritage—and its ability to uplift all communities, in any state.
Together, these essays illustrate an important truth—the story of black America’s astounding success in integrating into mainstream American culture, and the necessity for black American patriotism as the true remedy for the community’s lasting problems.
The State of Black America will be available for public release beginning next week. Claim your exclusive pre-order today from our friends at Encounter Books.
