The Right To Work with Mark Mix
Last week, Star discussed the PRO Act – a union power expansion hidden in the Senate reconciliation bill. This week she sat down with Mark Mix, the President of the National Right to Work Committee, a 2.8 million member public policy organization. They have fought to make 27 states “right to work” states, meaning that their employment does not have to be based on union membership. Star and Mark discuss how the PRO Act is working to disrupt the freelance “gig” economy and how this will disproportionately hurt the black community.
